Mikhail Aleksandrovich Zhabkin (russian: Михаил Александрович Жабкин; born 1 March 1994) is a Russian football player. Club career He made his debut in the Russian Second Division for FC Volgar-Astrakhan Astrakhan on 15 April 2013 in a game against FC Olimpia Volgograd. He made his Russian Football National League debut for FC Volgar Astrakhan on 5 October 2014 in a game against FC SKA-Energiya Khabarovsk. Russia National Under-21 Football Team
The Russia national under-21 football team is overseen by the Russian Football Union. The team competed in the European Under-21 Football Championship, held every two years, and international friendly matches. The team also participated in the qualification for the Olympic Games. On 28 February 2022, in accordance with a recommendation by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), FIFA and UEFA suspended the participation of Russia, including in the Qatar 2022 World Cup. The Russian Football Union (russian: Российский Футбольный Союз, ''Rossiyskiy Futbolnyy Soyuz'' or RFS) is the official governing body of association football in the Russian Federation.
