Mikhail Dmitrievich Balakin (Russian: Михаил Дмитриевич Балакин, born April 20, 1961) is a Russian billionaire businessman and politician. He is chairman of the SU-155 group of companies, as well as a Moscow politician, member of the Moscow City Duma from 38th constituency. Early life and education Mikhail Balakin was born to a family of builders. He graduated the Kuibyshev Moscow State University of Civil Engineering with a degree in civil engineering and a concentration in heat and gas supply and ventilation. Career He worked his way up from master to chief engineer over the following eight years. In 1990 he was named director of Construction Management No. 155 (SU-155). Yuri II (russian: Ю́рий–II), also known as George II of Vladimir or Georgy II Vsevolodovich (26 November 11884 March 1238), was the fourth Grand Prince of Vladimir (1212–1216, 1218–1238) who presided over Vladimir-Suzdal at the time of the Mongol invasion of Rus'. He was the third and best-loved son of Vsevolod III and Maria Shvarnovna. He first distinguished himself in the battles against Ryazan in 1208. His father wanted Yuri to inherit Rostov and his elder brother Konstantin to succeed him in Vladimir. The latter, however, declared that he would rule both towns or nothing at all. Thereupon Vsevolod disinherited Konstantin and passed the throne to Yuri. Election to the 6th convocation of the Moscow City Duma took place on the United Voting Day on September 14, 2014. The elections were held in full by the majority system, 45 deputies were elected in 45 single-member constituencies (previously there were 35 deputies in the Duma) out of 258 candidates. The term of the new Duma will be five years. The elections were held on September 14 on more than 3,500 ballots in the city.
