Mikey Whiplash
Michael John Gilbert (born 16 July 1980) is an English professional wrestler, better known by his ring name Mikey Whiplash. He currently resides in Glasgow, Scotland and wrestles for numerous promotions in the British Independent circuit, most notably Insane Championship Wrestling where he is a former ICW World Heavyweight Championship (Scotland), ICW Heavyweight Champion and ICW Zero-G Championship, Zero-G Champion. Between 2002 and 2012 he was a full-time regular for All Star Wrestling. Gilbert has also wrestled for London-based promotion Progress Wrestling. In 2009 he defeated France's Sylvester Lefort, Thomas La Ruffa for the World Heavy Middleweight Championship (formerly held by Mark Rocco, Jushin Liger, Fuji Yamada, Robbie Brookside, Bryan Danielson and others). John Michael Watson (born June 4, 1973), better known by his ring name Mikey Whipwreck, is an American semi-retired professional wrestler working for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as a trainer, and global ambassador. He is best known for his career with Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), where he was an ECW Triple Crown Champion. Whipwreck is a former world champion, winning the ECW World Heavyweight Championship once. He also became a two-time World Television Champion and a three-time World Tag Team Champion in ECW. Watson began his professional wrestling career in ECW in 1994 and received the push of an underdog, who quickly captured the Television Championship, his first title in the company. The European Heavyweight Championship is a name used for various top titles competed for throughout the European professional wrestling circuit. The title was recognised as official by UK national TV network ITV for the purposes of their coverage of the UK wrestling scene and by its listings magazine TVTimes in accompanying magazine feature coverage. The title was defended in many promotions in Europe, and other versions of this one title also appeared in certain promotions. On August 25, 2001 the European Wrestling Union produced a European Heavyweight Championship tournament in Bochum, Germany, bringing in wrestlers some of whom claimed to already be the champion. NWA Scottish Heavyweight Championship
The Scottish Heavyweight Championship is the primary singles title in the Scottish Wrestling Alliance. It was first won by Conscience who defeated Eric Canyon, Adam Shane, and Hatred in Scotland on 17 July 2004. The title has generally been defended in Scotland, particularly in Bellshill, Bellahouston, Clydebank and Glasgow. It was originally created for British National Wrestling Alliance (NWA)-affiliated promotion NWA UK Hammerlock. The title was first defended outside of Scotland at the NWA 56th Anniversary Show in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in 2004.
