Mike Wright (quarterback)
Michael Wright Jr. (born September 28, 2001) is an American football quarterback for the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Wright began his college career with Vanderbilt before transferring to Mississippi State in 2023. High school career Wright attended Woodward Academy in College Park, Georgia. As a senior, Wright recorded 2,653 passing yards, 716 rushing yards, and fifty total touchdowns. As a result, he was named region 4-AAAA player of the year. A three-star recruit, Wright originally committed to UCF before flipping his commitment to play college football at Vanderbilt University. College career Vanderbilt Wright played sparingly as a freshman in 2020, before being named Vanderbilt's backup, behind Ken Seals, entering the 2021 season. Elon Phoenix Football
The Elon Phoenix football program is the intercollegiate American football team for the Elon University located in the U.S. state of North Carolina. The school first fielded a football team in 1909 and currently competes in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). The 2023 Mississippi State Bulldogs football team represented Mississippi State University in the West Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) during the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Bulldogs were led by Zach Arnett, who was promoted from defensive coordinator to head coach in December 2022 following the death of Mike Leach, until his firing on November 13, 2023. The Arkansas Razorbacks football program represents the University of Arkansas in the sport of American football. The Western Michigan Broncos football program represents Western Michigan University in the Football Bowl Subdivision of Division I and the Mid-American Conference (MAC). Western Michigan has competed in football since 1906, when they played three games in their inaugural season. In 1927, WMU joined four other schools ( Central Michigan University, Eastern Michigan University, Ferris State University, and Wayne State University) to form the Michigan Collegiate Conference. William Wyatt Rogers III (born August 19, 2001) is an American football quarterback for the Mississippi State Bulldogs. College career 2020 Rogers competed in 9 games throughout the 2020 season. He made his collegiate debut on October 10, against Kentucky, after a lack of production from starter K. J. Costello. The two rotated back and forth between the games. 2021 Before the first game of the season, Rogers was announced the starting quarterback for the Bulldogs. He threw two pick six interceptions during the first game of the season, to help give Louisiana Tech a 17-point lead. Rogers led the team in the school's largest comeback win to win the game 35-34.
