Mike Volz
James Michael Volz (born 1964 or 1965) is an American politician of the Republican Party. He is a member of the Washington House of Representatives, representing the 6th Legislative District since 2017. Early life, education, and career Volz graduated from Ritzville High School and earned a bachelor's degree from Eastern Washington University. He later received an MBA from Gonzaga University. Volz served as the assistant finance director for the Spokane Transit Authority before becoming the Deputy Treasurer for Spokane County. He also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Whitworth University. Washington's 6th Legislative District
The following is a list of the forty-nine legislative districts in the U.S. state of Washington following the 2022 redistricting. From the time Washington achieved statehood in 1889, it has elected members for representation to the state legislature. Each district elects a state senator and two district representatives. The districts have changed throughout state history through periodical redistricting, most recently in 2022 following the 2020 census. Whitworth University
Whitworth University is a private, Christian university affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA) and located in Spokane, Washington. Ritzville High School
Ritzville High School, also known as Old Ritzville High School, was a public high school located in Ritzville, Washington. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. The building was abandoned in 1983 and and its demolition was begun on August 17, 2013, and was completed a few days later. The current Ritzville High School building is located nearby and is operated by the Ritzville School District. In 2012 it was merged with Lind High School to become Lind-Ritzville High School.
