Mike Ulufale
Michael Fuimaono Ulufale (born February 1, 1972) is a former American football defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at Brigham Young University and was NFL Draft, drafted in the third round of the 1996 NFL Draft. Early years Ulufale attended James Campbell High School, where he lettered in American football, football, baseball and basketball. As a senior, he was named a first-team West All-Star as a quarterback and linebacker. In basketball he was named second-team West All-Star. Because of poor grades, he attended San Bernardino Valley College where he was a two-way player (defensive end and tight end). As a sophomore, he earned first-team All-American honors on defense and second-team on offense. He was also named the Foothill Conference Defensive MVP. Defensive Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's individual defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These roles may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. The National Football League Draft, also called the NFL Draft or (officially) the Player Selection Meeting, is an annual event which serves as the league's most common source of player recruitment. The injured reserve list ( IR list) is a designation used in North American professional sports leagues for athletes who suffer injuries and become unable to play. The exact name of the list varies by league; it is known as "injured reserve" in the National Football League (NFL) and National Hockey League (NHL), the "injured list" in the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the injured list (historically known as the "disabled list") in Major League Baseball (MLB). The National Basketball Association (NBA) does not have a direct analog to an injured reserve list, instead using a more general-purpose "inactive list" that does not require a player to be injured. Foothill Conference
The Foothill Conference was a college athletic conference that is affiliated with the California Community College Athletic Association. Several community colleges were members until it was formally disbanded in Spring, 2016. History The Foothill Conference was formed in 1988. However, the roots of the conference can be traced to 1981 when the football-only Foothill Conference was formed. The Foothill Conference was an offshoot of the Southern California Conference, which included many of the Los Angeles-based community colleges. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played.
