Mike Strachan (running Back)
Michael David Strachan (born May 24, 1953) is a former professional American football running back in the National Football League (NFL). Strachan played for Jackson High School in Miami, FL and went to college at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa (1972-1974) on an athletic scholarship. He was named All Big 8 three times while a member of the Iowa State Cyclones. Mike Strachan was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the 9th round of the 1975 NFL Draft. He played six seasons for the Saints and was affectionately known as "The Hound." He led the Saints in rushing during his rookie season. After his release by the Saints at the end of the 1980 season, he attempted to begin a career in real estate but that was cut short due to legal troubles. Michael Strachan (born August 13, 1997) is a Bahamian professional American football wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He is one of only 4 football players born in the Bahamas to have played in the NFL. He was a wide receiver and track athlete in college at Charleston before being selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Early years Strachan grew up in Freeport, Bahamas before moving to Lynchburg, Virginia, where he attended Liberty Christian Academy. College career Strachan was a member of the Charleston Golden Eagles for four seasons. Strachan redshirted his true freshman year and played sparingly the following season, catching one pass. Michael Francis Strachan CBE FRSE (1919–2000) was a 20th-century Scottish businessman who served as Director of the Bank of Scotland from 1972 to 1990. He also served with distinction in the Second World War, alongside his wartime comrade, Enoch Powell. As an author he was biographer of several obscure historical figures. Life He was born on 23 October 1919 the son of Francis William Strachan and his wife, Violet Blackwell Palmer. His father was a British Army officer of Scots descent and his mother was a wealthy widow from the Crosse & Blackwell fortune. He was raised on a country estate in Herefordshire. Michael T. Strahan ( ; born November 21, 1971) is an American television personality, journalist, and former professional football player. He played his entire 15-year professional career as a defensive end for the New York Giants of the National Football League. A dominant pass rusher, Strahan is currently tied with T. J.
