Mike Sainristil
Michael Sainristil (born October 3, 2000) is an American football wide receiver and defensive back for the Michigan Wolverines. Early life and high school career Sainristil was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, in 2000. His father, Carlot, was the newsroom director at a radio station and received threats after the 2000 Haitian presidential election. As a result, the family fled from Haiti when Sainristil was seven months old. The family settled in Everett, Massachusetts, where Sainristil attended Everett High School. He was the Gatorade Player of the Year in Massachusetts during the 2018–19 academic year. College career In November 2018, he committed to play college football at the University of Michigan. He enrolled early and turned heads in Michigan's 2019 spring practice. In gridiron football, defensive backs (DBs), also called the secondary, are the players on the defensive side of the ball who play farthest back from the line of scrimmage. They are distinguished from the other two sets of defensive players, the defensive linemen who play directly on the line of scrimmage, and the linebackers, who play in the middle of the defense, between the defensive line and the defensive backs. The 2021 Michigan Wolverines football team represented the University of Michigan a member of the East Division of the Big Ten Conference during the 2021 NCAA Division I FBS football season. In their seventh year under head coach Jim Harbaugh, the team compiled an overall record of 12–2 record with a mark of 8–1 against conference opponents, won the Big Ten championship, outscored opponents by a total of 501 to 243, and was ranked No. 3 in the final AP and Coaches Polls. Dominique Stephon "Nico" Collins (born March 19, 1999) is an American football wide receiver for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Michigan and was drafted by the Texans in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Early years Collins was a wide receiver at Clay-Chalkville High School in Clay, Alabama.
