Michael J. Nemes (born February 20, 1954) is an American politician who serves in the Kentucky State Senate representing the 38th Senate district since January 28, 2020. He previously served in the Kentucky House of Representatives representing the 38th House district from January 2011 to January 2013. He was defeated for reelection in 2012 by then-Democrat Denver Butler Denver Earl "Denny" Butler Jr. (born 1970) is an American politician and a former Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives. Kentucky's 38th Senate District
Kentucky's 38th Senatorial district is one of 38 districts in the Kentucky Senate. It comprises Bullitt County, Kentucky, Bullitt County, as well as part of Jefferson County, Kentucky, Jefferson. It has been represented by Mike Nemes (Republican Party (United States), R–Shepherdsville, Kentucky, Shepherdsville) since 2020. As of 2022, the district had a population of 115,250.
