Mike Nagy
Michael Timothy Nagy (born March 25, 1948) is an American former professional baseball pitcher who played for the Boston Red Sox, St. Louis Cardinals, Texas Rangers and Houston Astros of Major League Baseball (MLB). He batted and threw right-handed, stood tall and weighed . Nagy played professionally from 1966 to 1974, and was traded five times throughout his career. Career Nagy was born in The Bronx but raised in Lebanon, Pennsylvania by a Jewish family originally from New Jersey. He was drafted in the 6th round (104th overall) of the 1966 Major League Baseball Draft by the Boston Red Sox out of St Helena's High School for Boys now called Monsignor Scanlan High School in Bronx, NY. He played three years in the minor leagues, and made his major league debut in 1969. Nagy had a very good year in his first major league season, with 12 wins, and only 2 losses. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. The Mexican League (, ) is a professional baseball league based in Mexico and the oldest running professional league in the country. The league has 18 teams organized in two divisions, North and South. Teams play 114 games each season. Five teams in each division advance to a four-round postseason tournament that culminates in the Serie del Rey, a best-of-seven championship series between the two division champions. The Mexican League has two affiliated minor leagues, the Liga Norte de México and Mexican Academy League. Though founded in 1925, the league joined the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues ( Minor League Baseball) in 1955, when it was designated a Double-A league. Michael Wayne Thompson (born September 6, 1949) is an American former right-handed Major League Baseball pitcher who played in the big leagues in 1971 and from 1973 to 1975 for the Washington Senators, St. Louis Cardinals and Atlanta Braves. Prior to playing professionally, he attended Ponca City High School in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Thompson's professional career began in 1967, after he was drafted in the third round in that year's draft. He played for the Geneva Senators, going 2–5 with a 3.76 ERA in 10 games started. The following year, he played for the Salisbury Senators, going 7–13 with a 4.27 ERA in 29 games (23 games started). In 1969, he improved drastically, going 9–5 with a 2.09 ERA in 18 games for the Burlington Senators. Charlie Hudson
Charles Hudson (born August 18, 1949) is a former left-handed Major League Baseball pitcher who played from 1972 to 1975 for the St. Louis Cardinals, Texas Rangers and California Angels. He was 6'3" tall and he weighed 185 pounds. He attended Tupelo High School in Tupelo, Oklahoma. Hudson was originally drafted by the New York Mets in the 10th round of the 1967 draft. He had quite a bit of success as a starter in the minors, for example going a combined 20-9 with a 2.10 ERA in his first two minor league seasons. He was also used as a reliever at times in the minors, and he saw success in that role as well.
