Mike McNamara
Michael McNamara (born 1949) is an Irish former hurling manager and former player. He played hurling with his local club Scariff from the 1960s until the 1980s. McNamara is also a publican and night club owner in Scariff and served as manager of the Offaly and Clare senior inter-county teams. Managerial career Offaly McNamara was appointed manager of the Offaly senior hurling team in November 2002. In his first season in charge, his team lost to Wexford in the Leinster semi-final on a scoreline of 0–16 to 1–12. In the subsequent qualifying campaign, Offaly overcame Dublin and Limerick to qualify for an All Ireland quarter final against Tipperary. They lost this match 2–16 to 2–11 after a relatively poor display. The following year, 2004, Offaly reached a Leinster final, only to be beaten by Wexford for the second successive year on a scoreline of 2–12 to 1–11. Ger O'Loughlin
Ger 'Sparrow' O'Loughlin (born 5 September 1967 in Clarecastle, County Clare, Ireland) is an Irish former hurling Manager (Gaelic games), manager and former player. An effective forward, O'Loughlin enjoyed a successful playing career at club level with Clarecastle GAA, Clarecastle and at inter-county level with Clare. He was a key member of the latter team during the 'golden age' of the 1990s and collected two All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, All-Ireland titles and three Munster Senior Hurling Championship, Munster titles in the space of four years. After a successful spell as manager of his native club Clarecastle, O'Loughlin took charge of the Adare GAA, Adare club in Limerick. Tony Considine
Tony Considine served as manager of the Clare senior hurling team from November 2006 until August 2007. Considine was ratified as the Clare hurling manager to succeed Anthony Daly in November 2006 at a county board meeting in Ennis. He had previously served as a selector on the Clare all-Ireland junior winning team of 1993 under Mike McNamara. At senior level, he was also part of Ger Loughnane's backroom team (along with McNamara) that guided Clare hurling through a successful period between 1995 and 1998. Clare ended a 63-year wait to win the Munster title and 81-year wait to win the all-Ireland senior championship title in 1995. John McIntyre (hurler)
John McIntyre (born 1961 in Lorrha, County Tipperary) is an Irish hurling manager and former player. He is the former manager of the Galway senior hurling team. An effective centre-back, McIntyre enjoyed a relatively successful playing career at club level with Lorrha–Dorrha and at inter-county level with Tipperary. He was a member of the latter team for a number of seasons in the 1980s, when Tipperary were going through an uncharacteristic drought in terms of championship success. After his playing days ended McIntyre gained notoriety as a manager and coach at all levels. A successful stint as coach working alongside manager Billy McGrath of the Clarinbridge club team in Galway followed his first term as manager of the Offaly senior hurling team in the 1990s. Tom Fogarty (hurler)
Fr. Thomas Fogarty (born 1951) is a Roman Catholic priest and former hurler who played as a left corner-back at senior level for the Tipperary county team. Born in Templetuohy, County Tipperary, Fogarty first played competitive hurling in his youth. attended Thurles CBS, and trained for the priesthood at St. Patrick's College, Thurles and was ordained for the Diocese of Cashel and Emly. Hurling career He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he first linked up with the Tipperary minor teams as a dual player before later joining the under-21 hurling side. He joined the senior panel during the 1975 championship. Fogarty was an unused substitute during his career and ended his playing days without silverware. Gerry Quinn (born 24 July 1980 in Dabrien, Kilnaboy, County Clare) is an Irish sportsperson. He played for Corofin and was a member of the Clare senior inter-county team since 2000.
