Mike McLane
Michael R. McLane is a judge on the 22nd Circuit Court of Oregon and a former Republican politician in the state's Legislature. McLane resigned his seat representing House District 55 in the Oregon House of Representatives on July 1, 2019. He was appointed to the circuit court bench by Democratic Governor Kate Brown. Early life and career Born in Condon, Oregon, McLane graduated from Condon High School in 1983, and then from Oregon State University with a degree in Agricultural Resource Economics in 1987. He earned a Juris Doctor degree from Lewis & Clark Law School and clerked for Justice W. Michael Gillette at the Oregon Supreme Court. McLane also worked as a law clerk at the U.S. Attorney's office and has assisted with prosecutions in Multnomah County Circuit Court, as well as federal court. The Oregon House of Representatives is the lower house of the Oregon Legislative Assembly. Kingsley Field Air National Guard Base
Kingsley Field Air National Guard Base is the home base of the Oregon Air National Guard's 173rd Fighter Wing (173 FW). History In 1928, the citizens of Klamath Falls approved the sale of $50,000 worth of bonds to construct an airport. The airport was known as the Klamath Falls Municipal Airport and consisted of gravel runways and one fixed-base operator. In 1942, the airport was selected as a site for a Naval Air Station. Known as NAS Klamath Falls during World War II, the airport was transferred from the U.S. Navy back to civilian use in late 1945. The 173rd Fighter Wing (173 FW) is a unit of the Oregon Air National Guard, stationed at Kingsley Field Air National Guard Base, Klamath Falls, Oregon. The Oregon Air National Guard (OR ANG) is the aerial militia of the State of Oregon, United States of America. It is, along with the Oregon Army National Guard, an element of the Oregon National Guard. Jefferson County is one of the 36 counties in the U.S. state of Oregon. At the 2020 census, the population was 24,502. The county seat is Madras. The county is named after Mount Jefferson. History Jefferson County was created on December 12, 1914, from a portion of Crook County.
