Mike Gipson
Mike Anthony Gipson (born June 25, 1966) is an American politician currently serving in the California State Assembly. He is a California Democratic Party, Democrat representing the California's 64th State Assembly district, 64th Assembly District, which encompasses portions of the South Bay (Los Angeles), South Bay region of Los Angeles County, including Compton, California, Compton, Carson, California, Carson, and Willowbrook, California, Willowbrook. Gipson is a member of the California Legislative Black Caucus. Prior to being elected to the Assembly in 2014, he was served on the Carson, California, Carson City Council. A write-in candidate is a candidate whose name does not appear on the ballot but seeks election by asking voters to cast a vote for the candidate by physically writing in the person's name on the ballot.
