Mike Faragalli
Michael Faragalli (born 1958) is a football coach at Ave Maria University, coaching tight ends, as well as being the offensive coordinator. He is the former running backs coach at the University of Virginia, and was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the University of Richmond. He is also a former head coach of the Toronto Argonauts. Faragalli played defensive back at the University of Rhode Island from 1975 to 1978. He began his coaching career as a graduate assistant and later wide receivers coach at the Rhode Island in 1979. He held the same position as receiver's coach the University of Wisconsin–Madison and at the College of William & Mary. In 1985, he was hired by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats to serve as Al Bruno's offensive coordinator at the age of 26, losing the Grey Cup in his first season and winning it the following season. Offensive Coordinator
An offensive coordinator is a member of the coaching staff of an American football or Canadian football team who is in charge of the team's offense. Generally, along with the defensive coordinator and the special teams coordinator, this coach represents the second level of coaching structure after the head coach. The offensive coordinator is in charge of the team's offensive game plan, and typically calls offensive plays during the game, although some offensive-minded head coaches also handle play-calling. Several position coaches work under the offensive coordinator (position groupings can include quarterbacks, wide receivers, offensive line, running backs, and tight ends). The Columbia Lions football program is the intercollegiate American football team for Columbia University. Joe Faragalli
Joe Faragalli (April 18, 1929 – April 10, 2006) was a gridiron football player and coach who had most of his success in the Canadian Football League (CFL). Faragalli played Guard (American football), guard at Villanova University from 1950 to 1953, and was the team captain all four years. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the 12th round (138th overall pick) of the 1954 NFL Draft. He served four years in Germany with the United States Army and went on to coach college football in the United States. Coaching career Known affectionately throughout the CFL as "Papa Joe," Faragalli joined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 1967 as an offensive coach. Al Bruno
Albert P. Bruno (March 28, 1927 – October 5, 2014) was an American gridiron football player, administrator, and coach who served as the head coach of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats from 1983 to 1990. Early life He was born in 1927 in West Chester, Pennsylvania. A graduate of West Chester High School and The Perkiomen School, Bruno attended the University of Kentucky from 1948 to 1951. He played end on Kentucky Wildcats football team, played forward for the Wildcats basketball team, and was a member of the track team. In his senior season, Bruno caught 38 passes for 589 yards and 10 touchdowns and was named third-team All America by both AP and UPI. His single-season school record for receiving yards stood until 1964 and his single-season record for touchdown receptions held until 1998.
