Mike Elias
Michael Elias (born December 28, 1982) is an American baseball executive. He is the executive vice president and general manager for the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball (MLB). Career Elias graduated from the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, Virginia, where he was born. He attended Yale University, graduating in 2006. He played college baseball for the Yale Bulldogs as a pitcher. After his sophomore season, Elias required surgery to repair a torn labrum. After graduating from Yale, Elias became a scout for the St. Louis Cardinals in 2007. When the Houston Astros hired Jeff Luhnow from the Cardinals as their general manager in 2011, Elias went to Houston with him as their director of amateur scouting. David Stearns (born February 18, 1985) is an American baseball executive who most recently served as the president of baseball operations for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB). Stearns currently holds an advisory role with the team. Stearns previously served as the assistant general manager of MLB's Houston Astros, worked for the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, the Arizona Fall League, and in the baseball operations departments for the Cleveland Indians and New York Mets. Dan Duquette (born May 26, 1958) is an American baseball executive. He is the former general manager of the Montreal Expos, Boston Red Sox, and Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball. He is also the founder of the Dan Duquette Sports Academy. He has twice been named the Major League Baseball Executive of the Year by '' Sporting News'' (1992 with the Expos and 2014 with the Orioles).
