Mike Capaccio
Mike Capaccio is an American athletics administrator, currently serving as athletic director of The Citadel Bulldogs in Charleston, South Carolina. He was named to that position in 2018. He previously served as athletic director at UNC Wilmington Seahawks, UNC Wilmington for two years, and as CEO of the Brunswick Community College Foundation. Playing career Capaccio played basketball at Madison Wolfpack men's basketball, Madison College for two years before completing his eligibility at the Mary Marauders men's basketball, University of Mary. He was known as an excellent rebounder, and led the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, NAIA in rebounding his senior year, a mark that remains among the top ten season performances in the Mary record book through 2020 and earning a Madison Hall of Fame induction in 1993. An athletic director (commonly "athletics director" or "AD") is an administrator at many American clubs or institutions, such as colleges and university, universities, as well as in larger high schools and middle schools, who oversees the work of coach (sports), coaches and related staff involved in athletic programs. Although technically in charge of all of the coaches, they are often far less well-compensated and also less famous, with few having their own television and radio programs as many coaches now do. The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) established in 1940, is a college athletics association for colleges and universities in North America. Most colleges and universities in the NAIA offer athletic scholarships to its student athletes. Brad Brownell
Bradley Robert Brownell (born November 15, 1968) is an American college basketball coach and most recently the previous head basketball coach at Clemson University. Prior to coming to Clemson, he held the same position at Wright State and UNC Wilmington. He has most recently coached his 13th season at Clemson, losing in the first round of the NIT tournament to Morehead State. Early life Born in Evansville, Indiana, Brownell played high school basketball at William Henry Harrison High School with current Indiana Pacers assistant of player development and Indiana University player Calbert Cheaney.
