Mike Busniuk
Michael Busniuk (born December 13, 1951) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player and coach. He is the younger brother of Ron Busniuk. Busniuk was selected 67th overall, in the 5th round of the 1971 NHL Amateur Draft, by the Montreal Canadiens and played two seasons with the Philadelphia Flyers. Busniuk played eight seasons in the American Hockey League and is the only player to be a member of four consecutive Calder Cup championship teams (1976–1979), and to win five cups as a player. Busniuk won a sixth Calder Cup as a coach. Busniuk was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Playing career Busniuk played junior ice hockey with the Fort William Canadians. During his third and final year, in 1970-71, Busniuk was picked up as an add-on player by the Fort William Hurricanes who had advanced to the 1970 Memorial Cup. Defenceman
Defence or defense (in American English) in ice hockey is a player position that is primarily responsible for preventing the opposing team from Goal (ice hockey), scoring. They are often referred to as defencemen, D, D-men or blueliners (the latter a reference to the blue line in ice hockey which represents the boundary of the offensive zone; defencemen generally position themselves along the line to keep the puck in the zone). Tri-City Americans
The Tri-City Americans are a major junior ice hockey team of the Western Hockey League, based in Kennewick, Washington. The team plays its home games at Toyota Center (Kennewick), Toyota Center. Fred Glover (ice Hockey)
Frederick Austin Glover (January 5, 1928 – August 16, 2001) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player and coach. He played 92 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Black Hawks between 1949 and 1952, though most of his career, which lasted from 1947 to 1968, was with the Cleveland Barons of the American Hockey League (AHL). After his playing career he coached the Barons for several years, and coached in the NHL with the Oakland Seals/California Golden Seals and Los Angeles Kings between 1968 and 1974, also serving as general manager of the Golden Seals on two occasions during that time. He was the brother of Howie Glover, who also played in the NHL. Playing career Glover played junior hockey in his native Toronto. Les Duff
Les Duff (born December 12, 1934) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. Between 1955 and 1970 he played 927 games in the American Hockey League (AHL). Duff won the Calder Cup five times during his playing career to share the record for most Calder Cups won with Bob Solinger, Fred Glover, and Mike Busniuk. Robert Edward "Solly" Solinger (December 23, 1925 – December 10, 2014) was a professional ice hockey player who played 99 games in the National Hockey League. The 1980 Stanley Cup Finals was the championship series of the National Hockey League's (NHL) 1979–80 season, and the culmination of the 1980 Stanley Cup playoffs.
