Mike Astbury
Michael John Astbury (born 22 January 1964), also known as Mick Astbury, was a professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper for five Football League clubs. Playing career Astbury became York City's youngest ever goalkeeper when, as a 16–year old, he played in goal during City's 1–1 draw at AFC Bournemouth in the 1980–81 season. He had spells in and out of the side over the next few years, with one of the highlights being playing in goal when York surprisingly knocked Arsenal out of the 1984–85 FA Cup, where some brave goalkeeping from Astbury kept City in the game before their late winner. He moved to Peterborough United on loan in January 1986, two months before signing permanently for Darlington. Astbury moved on again in July 1987 to Chester City. Injured shortly after arriving, Astbury had to wait until December 1987 for his first-team debut. Kippax, West Yorkshire
Kippax is a village and civil parish in the City of Leeds metropolitan borough, West Yorkshire, England. It is situated to the east of the city, near to Garforth and Great Preston. The Kippax and Methley ward of Leeds City Council was part of the former UK Parliament constituency of Elmet, which became Elmet and Rothwell at the 2010 UK general election. The population of Kippax parish at the 2011 Census was 9,785. Kippax was a separate civil parish, in Tadcaster Rural District, until 1939, when it was annexed to Garforth. It re-acquired civil parish status and a parish council on 1 April 2004. The Football League Fourth Division was the fourth-highest division in the English football league system from the 1958–59 season until the creation of the Premier League prior to the 1992–93 season. Whilst the division disappeared in name in 1992, the 4th tier of English football continued as the Football League Third Division, and later became known as Football League Two. Billy Stewart (footballer, Born 1965)
Billy Stewart (born 1 January 1965) is a former professional footballer who played goal, primarily with Chester City. He currently coaches with West Ham United Ladies first team as their Goalkeeping Coach. He joined West Ham United after spending the previous three seasons with Accrington Stanley FC first team and helped them gain promotion to the EFL league 1 as League 2 Champions in the 2017–8 season. He is a current Goalkeeping Coach Educator for the FA and has coached at international level for England and Northern Ireland at the under-21, under-19 and schoolboy levels, and with the Liverpool County FA disability team on a part-time basis. He also coached the Bolton Wanderers Ladies goalkeepers for 2 seasons. He left Liverpool in July 2009 after 10 seasons as a coach, and is a freelance goalkeeping coach.
