Mike Armanini
Michael Armanini is an American politician serving as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from the 75th district. Elected in November 2020, he assumed office on December 1, 2020. Early life and education Armanini was born in Kersey, Pennsylvania and graduated from Elk County Catholic High School in 1981. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 1985. Career Armanini began his career in the metallurgy industry in 1987, working for Laurel Manufacturing. In 1997, he co-founded Product Assurance Services and Proform Powdered Metals. In 2015, after leaving the metallurgy industry, he became the headmaster of the Central Catholic High School. Kersey is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Fox Township, Elk County, Pennsylvania, United States. As of the 2020 census the population was 797. History The first permanent settlers of the county arrived in 1810 and founded Centreville at the headwaters of Little Toby Creek. Later that year, William Kersey built a gristmill and/or sawmill there, and the settlement was renamed "Kersey", though early sources sometimes refer to it as "Kersey's". At the time, the area was part of Clearfield County, as Elk County had not yet been formed. Early industries in the community were lumber and coal. Matthew M. Gabler (born July 13, 1983) is an American politician who formerly represented the 75th Pennsylvania House of Representatives District from 2009 until 2020. Early life and education Gabler graduated valedictorian from DuBois Central Catholic High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science in 2006 with a minor in physics from Bucknell University. Career Following graduation from Bucknell University, Gabler was commissioned to serve as a 2nd lieutenant in the United States Army Reserve. He served as commander of the Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 424th Multifunctional Medical Battalion before accepting his assignment as a medical logistics officer with the Headquarters, 28th Infantry Division, Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Treasure Lake is a census-designated place (CDP) in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 5,460 at the 2020 census. Treasure Lake is a semi-private, gated community centered around its namesake. Geography Treasure Lake is located in the northwestern corner of Clearfield County at (41.168088, -78.721111). It is an unincorporated community within Sandy Township and is bordered to the north by Jefferson and Elk counties. The city of DuBois is by road south of the center of the community. The Treasure Lake community is built around two reservoirs.
