The Chinatown–International District of Seattle, Washington (also known as the CID) is the center of Seattle's Asian American community. Congee or conjee ( ) is a type of rice porridge or gruel eaten in Asian countries. A wonton () is a type of Chinese dumpling commonly found across regional styles of Chinese cuisine. It is also spelled wantan or wuntun in transliteration from Cantonese () and wenden from Shanghainese ().
