Fiji women's national basketball team is the national basketball team from Fiji, administered by the Fiji Amateur Basketball Federation. They played in the 2007 Oceania Championship in Dunedin. The FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament 2008 for women took place from June 9 to June 15, 2008. On December 9, 2007, FIBA announced that Spain would host the wildcard tournament. Through this tournament, the final five qualifying berths for the 2008 Olympics women's basketball competition were captured by Spain, Belarus, Latvia, the Czech Republic, and Brazil. Church College of New Zealand (CCNZ) was a private secondary school in Temple View, Hamilton, New Zealand, that was operated by the Church Educational System of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). It was closed at the end of the 2009 school year. History Construction of CCNZ began in 1952. In 1955, the LDS Church announced that it would construct a temple in Hamilton. LDS Church president David O. McKay initially went to New Zealand to downsize the building programme. After visiting the project, McKay was so impressed with what he saw and felt he decided to add two more buildings to the school's construction. These buildings were later named the David O. Temple View is a suburb of the city of Hamilton, New Zealand. Temple View was established in the 1950s out of the construction of the Hamilton New Zealand Temple and the Church College of New Zealand by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). Access to the suburb is through Dinsdale, and then along Tuhikaramea Road. In 2018 the College was demolished and it was planned to put about 200 houses on the site.
