Franjo Mihalić
Franjo Mihalić (; 9 March 1920 – 14 February 2015) was a Yugoslav and Croatian long-distance track event, long-distance runner best known for his 1958 win at the Boston Marathon and his marathon silver medal in the 1956 Summer Olympics. Irene Mihalic
Irene Mihalic (born 17 November 1976) is a German politician of Alliance 90/The Greens from Gelsenkirchen. A former police officer, Mihailic has been a member of the Bundestag since 2013. Early life and education Mihalic was born in Waldbröl, the youngest of three siblings. Her parents are from Croatia; they came to Germany in the 1960s. Mihalic trained as a police officer and studied at the Fachhochschule für öffentliche Verwaltung Nordrhein-Westfalen (University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration North Rhine-Westphalia), graduating as a Diplom-Verwaltungswirt (FH). She studied criminology and police science at the Ruhr University Bochum, graduating with an M.A. degree in 2016. Joe Mihalich
Joseph Anthony Mihalich (born August 29, 1956) is an American former college basketball coach and current Special Assistant to the Head Coach at La Salle University. Mihalich was previously the men's basketball head coach at Hofstra University from 2013–2021. Prior to that, he led Niagara to two NCAA tournaments, in 2005 and 2007, and three NIT Tournaments, in 2004, 2009 and 2013. He received the Skip Prosser Man of the Year Award in 2013. Career Assistant coach La Salle Mihalich spent 17 years, from 1981–1998, at his alma mater as an assistant coach under head coaches Dave “Lefty” Ervin and the legendary William “Speedy” Morris. Mihalich was a part of eight postseason appearances including five NCAA Tournament teams.
