Miguel Ángel Martínez (born January 19, 1984) is a retired Argentine football defender. Martínez also holds Mexican citizenship. Background Martínez spent some time in the youth squads of Racing Club of his native Argentina and Atletico de Madrid in Spain, before moving to Mexico in 2008 to play for Club León for the Apertura 2008. For the Clausura 2009 tournament, he was traded to Atlante F.C. He was given the #2 shirt, vacated by his compatriot Javier Muñoz, who left to CF Pachuca. Miguel Ángel Martínez (born 16 February 1995) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Italian club Reggina. CLub career In 2014, Ángel Martínez almost joined the first team of Spanish La Liga side Getafe but left due to injury. In 2016, he signed for Catania in the Italian third division after playing for the English Nike Academy. In 2018, he signed for Spanish fourth division club CF San Agustín del Guadalix, before returning to Catania. Ángel Martínez, his mother and his sister are directors of Chamartín Vergara in Spain. On 20 July 2021, he joined Serie C club Triestina. Miguel Ángel Martínez Tajuelo (born 19 April 1984) is a Paralympic swimmer from Spain. He competed at both the 2008 and 2012 Summer Paralympics and is a European and World Championships medaling competitor. Personal Martínez is from Andalusia. In 2010, he was a guest of ONCE for a special screening of the documentary, " La Teoría del Espiralismo", about the lives of Paralympic sportspeople. He spoke before the screening of the film. Swimming Martínez is an S3 swimmer, and is a member of Club Fidias. He started competitive swimming in 2006. Martínez competed in the 2008 Summer Paralympics where he competed in three events. Following the Games, he and other Seville Olympians and Paralympians were special guests at a function hosted by the Minister of Tourism, Trade and Sport of the Junta de Andalucía, Luciano Alonso. Miguel Ángel Martínez-González (born in 1957 in Málaga, Spain) is a Spanish medical doctor, epidemiologist, professor, and nutrition researcher He has been often a visiting scholar at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (Dept. Nutrition). Martínez-González was the Founder and Chair (until September 2022) of the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health at University of Navarra at the Medical School.
