Miguel Angel Garcia Cortez (born December 15, 1987), best known as Mikey Garcia, is an American former professional boxer who competed from 2006 to 2021. He held multiple quadruple champion, world championships in four weight classes from featherweight to light welterweight, and challenged once for the IBF welterweight title. Early life and education Born to Mexican parents, Miguel Angel's father, Eduardo, was an amateur boxer and trainer of world champion boxing, boxer Fernando Vargas at La Colonia Youth Boxing Club. Miguel Ángel García Pérez-Roldán (born 12 February 1981), known as Corona, is a Spanish football executive and former player who played as a midfielder. He is the current director of football of Valencia CF. After starting out at Real Madrid, Corona spent most of his career at Almería, appearing in 335 official matches and scoring 22 goals. The Miguel Angel Garcia Mendez Post Office Building in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, previously known as the United States Post Office and Courthouse, and also known as Correo Central de Mayagüez is a post office and courthouse facility of the United States, housing operations of the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. It was designed by Louis A. Simon, Supervising Architect of the Treasury, and was built in 1935. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 as U.S. Post Office and Courthouse. In 2007, the U.S. Congress passed a bill renaming the building for statesman and local government figure Miguel A. García Méndez.
