Miguel Patiño Velázquez (30 September 1938 – 22 September 2019) was a Mexican Roman Catholic bishop. Patiño Velázquez was born in Mexico and was ordained to the priesthood in 1963. The Diocese of Apatzingan ( la, Dioecesis Apatzinganiensis) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Catholic Church in Mexico. It is a suffragan in the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Morelia. Its cathedra is found within the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, in the episcopal see of Apatzingan, Michoacán. History The Diocese of Apatzingan was erected on 30 April 1962.
