Miguel David Gutiérrez Suárez (born ) is a Cuban volleyball player. He is part of the Cuba men's national volleyball team. On club level he plays for Volley Prata. Villa Clara, Cuba
Villa Clara is one of the provinces of Cuba. It is located in the central region of the island bordering with the Atlantic at north, Matanzas Province by west, Sancti Spiritus Province by east, and Cienfuegos Province on the South. Villa Clara shares with Cienfuegos and Sancti Spiritus on the south the Escambray Mountain Range. Its main cities are Santa Clara (the capital), Remedios, Sagua La Grande, Camajuani, Caibarién, Ranchuelo, Placetas, and Manicaragua. 2017 FIVB Volleyball Men's U23 World Championship
The 2017 FIVB Volleyball Men's U23 World Championship was the third and final edition of the international volleyball tournament and the world championship for men's national teams under the age of 23, organized by the sport's world governing body, FIVB. The tournament was held in Cairo, Egypt from 18 to 25 August 2017. 12 teams from the 5 confederations competed in the tournament. Argentina defeated defending champions Russia 4–2 in the final to claim their first title in the competition. This marked Argentina's first ever world title at any age group. Cuba won the bronze medal outclassing Brazil 4–1. Germán Johansen from Argentina was elected the MVP. After this tournament, FIVB declared that "As per decision of May 2019 FIVB Board of Administration, the U23 WCH has been abolished." 2017 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship
The 2017 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship was the nineteenth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship, contested by the men's national teams under the age of 21 of the members of the FIVB, the sport's global governing body. The tournament was held in Brno and Ceské Budejovice, Czech Republic from 23 June to 2 July 2017. 16 teams participated. Players must be born on or after 1 January 1997. Poland defeated Cuba in the final to capture their third title in the competition. Russia, which won the previously three editions of the tournament, won the bronze medal after defeating Brazil in the 3rd place match. Jakub Kochanowski from Poland was elected the MVP. The FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship, called the FIVB Volleyball Men's Junior World Championship between 2007 and 2011, is the world championship of volleyball for male players under the age of 21 organized by ''Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' ( FIVB). The first edition was staged in 1977 in Brazil and tournaments have been played every four years for the first three editions and every two years since then. The most recent tournament was hosted by Bahrain in the city of Manama and won by Iran. Russia is the most successful nation in the tournament's history, with six titles and three runners-up.
