Miguel Acosta (boxer)
Miguel Acosta (born April 20, 1978) is a Venezuelan former professional boxer who competed from 1999 to 2016. His nickname is "Aguacerito". He is the former World Boxing Association lightweight champion. Professional career Acosta turned professional in 1999 and compiled a record of 26-3-2 before knocking out Paulus Moses on May 29, 2010 to become the new WBA lightweight champion. However Acosta lost the title in his first official defense against Brandon Ríos on February 26, 2011. Palms Casino Resort is a hotel and casino located near the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, United States. It is owned and operated by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians. It includes 703 rooms and a casino. It was originally owned by the Maloof family, and was primarily overseen by George Maloof. He purchased the site in 1997, and construction began three years later. The Palms opened on November 15, 2001, with Station Casinos and The Greenspun Corporation as minority owners. It included a casino, restaurants, nightclubs, and a 42-story hotel. Robert Joseph Guerrero (born March 27, 1983) is an American professional boxer. He has held world championships in two weight classes, including the IBF featherweight title twice between 2006 and 2008, and the IBF junior lightweight title from 2009 to 2010.
