Mighty Milky Way
''Mighty Milky Way'' was an action puzzle video game for the Nintendo DSi. It was the second title after '' Mighty Flip Champs!'' in the ''Mighty'' series from WayForward Technologies. The game was released for download through DSiWare on May 9, 2011, in North America and May 27 in Europe. It was the last game officially released for the Nintendo DS in Japan. Due to no availability on other systems outside Nintendo DS and 3DS, ''Mighty Milky Way'' became a lost game in the ''Mighty'' series after the closure of Nintendo eShop in 2023. WayForward Technologies, Inc. is an American independent video game developer and publisher based in Valencia, California. Founded in March 1990 by technology entrepreneur Voldi Way, WayForward started by developing games for consoles such as the Super NES and Sega Genesis, as well as TV games and PC educational software. DSiWare Games
This is a list of games and applications, collectively known as DSiWare, for the Nintendo DSi handheld game console, available for download via the DSi Shop and unplayable on earlier DS models. An update released for the Nintendo 3DS in June 2011 added support for the Nintendo eShop service, which contained the DSi Shop's full library of DSiWare games (at the time) with the exception of certain games and applications. There were over 200 downloadable games available in North America as of August 2010.
