Midnight Sun (2018 Film)
''Midnight Sun'' is a 2018 American romantic drama film based on the 2006 Japanese film ''A Song to the Sun''. The film was directed by Scott Speer and written by Eric Kirsten, and stars Bella Thorne, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Rob Riggle. The story is about a teenaged girl with the condition ''xeroderma pigmentosum'', which prevents her from going out into sunlight. When she meets a boy, she struggles to decide whether to tell him about her condition or pretend to live a normal life. Principal photography began on October 12, 2015, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The film was released in the United States on March 23, 2018. Scott Speer
Scott Speer (born June 5, 1982) is an American filmmaker, music video director, television director and novelist. Life and career Speer was born in San Diego, California. At age 23, he was signed with ''HSI Productions'', and in 2006 Speer received the MVPA Award for ''Directorial Debut of the Year'' for the music video of "Stars (Switchfoot song), Stars" by Switchfoot. In 2007 he won his first MTV Video Music Awards Latin America in México, for his work with "Bella Traicion" by the Mexican people, Mexican pop music, pop sensation Belinda (entertainer), Belinda. In June 2007, he directed a three-part video series for Ashley Tisdale. Tiera Skovbye (; born May 6, 1995) is a Canadian actress. She began her career as a child actress. She is known for starring in television films such as her role playing Elizabeth Berkley in Lifetime's ''The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story'', and for her recurring roles as Polly Cooper on The CW series '' Riverdale'' and as Robin on the ABC television series ''Once Upon a Time''. Waters (band)
Waters (stylized as WATERS) is a musical project formed by Van Pierszalowski, the frontman of Port O'Brien, after Port O'Brien broke up. Pierszalowski traveled to Oslo to work on the album. The group released their debut album, ''Out in the Light'', in 2011 to generally favorable reviews. The band consists of Van Pierszalowski (vocals/guitar), Brian DaMert (guitar), Greg Sellin (bass), Andrew Wales (drums), and Sara DaMert (keyboard). History Waters was formed in 2011 in Oslo, Norway by Van Pierszalowski. He put together a band to record their first record "Out in the Light" with John Congleton in Dallas. Morgan Grace Kibby (born May 3, 1984) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and former actress based in Los Angeles, California. She is best known as a member and collaborator of the French electronic group M83 between 2008 and 2015, contributing to the albums, ''Saturdays = Youth'' (2008), ''Hurry Up, We're Dreaming'' (2011) and '' You and the Night'' (2015).
