Midnight Man is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Anton Mogart appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series '' Moon Knight'' (2022), portrayed by Gaspard Ulliel. Publication history Midnight Man first appeared in '' Moon Knight'' #3 (January 1981), and was created by Doug Moench and Bill Sienkiewicz. The character subsequently appears in ''Moon Knight'' #9–10 (July–August 1981). Fictional character biography Early life Nothing is known about Anton Mogart's past before he started stealing great works of art, jewels and such from locations all around the world, the thefts taking place promptly at midnight, which earned him the name Midnight Man. "Layla" is a song written by Eric Clapton and Jim Gordon, originally recorded by Derek and the Dominos, as the thirteenth track from their only studio album, ''Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs'' (1970). Its contrasting movements were composed separately by Clapton and Gordon. The piano part has also been controversially credited to Rita Coolidge, Gordon's girlfriend at the time. The song was inspired by a love story that originated in 7th-century Arabia and later formed the basis of '' The Story of Layla and Majnun'' by the 12th-century Persian poet Nizami Ganjavi, a copy of which Ian Dallas had given to Clapton. "The Friendly Type" is the third episode of the American television miniseries '' Moon Knight'', based on Marvel Comics featuring the character Moon Knight. It follows Marc Spector as he returns to Egypt to find Ammit's tomb before Arthur Harrow does. The episode is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films of the franchise. M-11 Originally known as the Human Robot, the character was given the name "M-11" in the 2006 to 2007 ''Agents of Atlas'' miniseries as an allusion to its first appearance in '' Menace'' #11 from Marvel Comics' 1950s predecessor, Atlas Comics. In an alternate reality from mainstream Earth, a scientist's newly created robot is programmed by the scientist's greedy business manager to murder the scientist. Moon Knight
Moon Knight is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Doug Moench and artist Don Perlin, the character first appeared in ''Werewolf by Night'' #32 (August 1975). The son of a rabbi, Marc Spector served as a Force Recon Marine and briefly as a CIA operative before becoming a mercenary alongside his friend Jean-Paul "Frenchie" DuChamp. During a job in Sudan, Spector is appalled when ruthless fellow mercenary Raoul Bushman attacks and kills archeologist Dr. Alraune in front of the man's daughter and colleague, Marlene Alraune.
