Midea ( grc, Μιδέα) or Mideia (Μίδεια) was a city of ancient Argolis. Mythology and proto-history Midea was originally called Perseuspolis (Περσέως πόλις), and is mentioned by Pseudo-Apollodorus in connection with this hero. It was said to have derived its name from the wife of Electryon, and was celebrated as the residence of Electryon and the birthplace of his daughter Alcmena, best known as the mother of Heracles. But it is mentioned in the earliest division of the country, along with the Heraeum and Tiryns, as belonging to Proetus. It was the residence of Hippodameia in her banishment. Midea ( el, Μιδέα) is a village and a former municipality in Argolis, Peloponnese, Greece. It was named ''Gerbesi'' (Γκέρμπεσι) until 1928. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Nafplio, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 178.306 km2, and a population of 5,631 (2011). ''Arsacia'' is a monotypic moth genus of the family Noctuidae. Its only species is ''Arsacia rectalis''. Both the genus and species were described by Francis Walker, the genus in 1866 and the species in 1863. It is found from the Indo-Australian tropics of India, Sri Lanka to Queensland and the Solomon Islands. Description Palpi porrect (extending forward), where the second joint thickly scaled, and third joint minute and acute. Frontal tuft absent. Antennae almost simple in male. Thorax and abdomen smoothly scaled. Tibia naked. Forewings with quadrate apex. Outer margin rounded. Inner margin lobed and with slight tufts of hair near base and at outer angle. Anthocharis
''Anthocharis'' is a Holarctic genus of the butterfly tribe Anthocharini, in the family Pieridae. These are typically small, white-hued butterflies that have colorful marks just inside the tips of the forewings. The tip colors are usually a red-orange hue, hence the name "orange tip". The larvae of these butterfly often consume cruciferous plants containing chemicals called glucosinolates. This genus is characterized by two of the five subcostal veins branching off before the apex of the cell, by the upper radial being only little united with the subcostal, and by the central discocellular being rather long. In all the species the males have at least the apical portion of the forewing orange red or yellow. The Prostigmata is a suborder of mites belonging to the order Trombidiformes, which contains the "sucking" members of the "true mites" (Acariformes). Many species are notorious pests on plants. Well-known examples of prostigmatan plant parasites are species of the gall mites (Eriophyidae, e.g. the redberry mite '' Acalitus essigi''), Tarsonemidae (e.g. the cyclamen mite, '' Steneotarsonemus pallidus''), and the spider mites of the Tetranychidae (e.g. the two-spotted spider mite, ''Tetranychus urticae'').
