Midas Man
''Midas Man'' is an upcoming British biographical film about the life of music entrepreneur Brian Epstein. Directed by Joe Stephenson, who replaced previous directors Sara Sugarman and Jonas Åkerlund during filming, it is based on a story and screenplay by Brigit Grant. Jacob Fortune-Lloyd stars in the lead role alongside Emily Watson, Eddie Marsan, Omari Douglas, Darci Shaw, Ed Speleers, Charley Palmer Rothwell, Bill Milner, Jay Leno, Jonah Lees, Blake Richardson, Leo Harvey Elledge, Campbell Wallace and Adam Lawrence. Joe A. Stephenson is a British director. He is the founder of the B Good Picture Company, with whom he has produced all his films to date. Career Stephenson made his feature directorial debut with the 2015 film ''Chicken (2015 film), Chicken'', adapted from Freddie Machin's stage play of the same name. Alistair Taylor
James Alistair Taylor (21 June 1935 – 9 June 2004) was an English personal assistant of Brian Epstein, the manager of the Beatles. As an employee at Epstein's company NEMS, Taylor accompanied him when he first saw the Beatles perform, at the Cavern Club in Liverpool on 9 November 1961. Taylor subsequently worked as the group's so-called "Mr. Fixit", devising escape routes from crazed fans and assisting the band members in purchasing property. He later became general manager of Apple Corps but was fired soon after Allen Klein arrived to address the company's financial problems. Gerard Marsden MBE (24 September 1942 – 3 January 2021) was an English singer-songwriter, musician and television personality, best known for being leader of the Merseybeat band Gerry and the Pacemakers. He was the younger brother of fellow band member Freddie Marsden. Gerry and the Pacemakers had the distinction of being the first act to have their first three recordings go to number 1 in the UK charts. Randolph Peter Best (né Scanland; born 24 November 1941) is an English musician known as the drummer of the English rock band the Beatles who was dismissed immediately prior to the band achieving worldwide fame.
