Microsoap
''Microsoap'' is a children's sitcom, co-written by Mark Haddon and co-produced by the BBC and the Disney Channel. A total of 26 episodes were made, lasting over four series, and airing from 1998 to 2001. It starred Suzanne Burden, Ivan Kaye, Paul Terry, Jeff Rawle and Rebecca Hunter. The program aired in the UK, the US, and internationally. The story is based around the lives of two children, Joe and Emily Parker, who are brother and sister. The series begins with the split of their parents, Colin and Jane, who decide their marriage is not working. They don't want to make life for their children difficult, so they remain friends while each dates someone else. This forms the beginning background story for the series. The series producer for all episodes was Andy Rowley. Directors were Juliet May, Baz Taylor and Graeme Harper; and the original sets were designed by Peter Findley. Paul Terry (actor)
Paul Christopher James Terry (born 7 November 1985) is an English former child actor. He is best known internationally for starring as James in the 1996 film adaptation of Roald Dahl's ''James and the Giant Peach''. He also starred in the four seasons of the children's sitcom '' Microsoap'' (1998–2000). Early life Terry was born in and grew up in Watford, Hertfordshire, north of London, and persuaded his parents to let him attend acting classes when he was five years old. He made his stage debut the following year in a regional production of Turgenev's '' A Month in the Country''. In 1994, his father heard about the auditions for a screen adaptation of Roald Dahl's popular children's novel ''James and the Giant Peach'', and thought his son would be perfect: "Like James", he said, "Paul can act like a little boy lost."

Lou Gish (27 May 1967 – 20 February 2006) was an English stage (theatre), stage, film and television actress. Biography She was born Louise Mikel Henrietta Marie Curram in 1967, the elder daughter of actors Sheila Gish and Roland Curram. She was raised in London and originally wanted to be an artist rather than an actor. She trained in Camberwell and earned a bachelor's degree at the Camberwell College of Arts. A role in a play in Paddington brought her to the attention of an agent, and this convinced her to follow her family into a career in the theatre, taking roles on stage, in television series, and in film. Suzanne Burden (born 1958) is a British actress. A graduate of RADA, she has appeared on television, and occasionally in films, since the early 1980s. Jeffrey Alan Rawle (born 20 July 1951) is an English actor. He is known for portraying George Dent in the news-gathering sitcom ''Drop the Dead Donkey''.
