Micko Larkin
Michael "Micko" Joseph Larkin (born 13 October 1986) is an English musician, most notable as the lead guitarist of the indie rock band Larrikin Love and reformed Hole. Biography 1986–2006: Early life and career Larkin was born in Hammersmith to Irish parents. In 2005, he formed the short-lived Larrikin Love with vocalist Edward Larrikin, bassist Alfie Ambrose and drummer, Coz Kerrigan. The band was described in ''NME magazine'' as part of the fictional "Thamesbeat scene", and released one album during their career, '' The Freedom Spark'' and six singles. Larrikin Love disbanded on 4 May 2007, after the group's members began to embark on other musical projects. 2007—present: As guitarist for Courtney Love and Hole reunion After Larrikin Love's split, Larkin moved to Los Angeles to work with former Hole frontwoman, Courtney Love. Hole (band)
Hole was an American alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1989 in music, 1989. It was founded by singer Courtney Love and guitarist Eric Erlandson. It had several different bassists and drummers, the most prolific being drummer Patty Schemel, and bassists Kristen Pfaff (d. 1994) and Melissa Auf der Maur. Hole released a total of four studio albums between two incarnations spanning the 1990s and early-2010s and became one of the most commercially successful rock bands in history fronted by a woman. Influenced by Los Angeles' punk rock scene, the band's debut album, ''Pretty on the Inside'' (1991), was produced by Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth, and attracted critical interest from British and American alternative press. Mairead Nash
Queens of Noize were a DJ duo based in London, consisting of Mairead Nash and Tabitha Denholm. During their time as a duo they presented for MTV2 and BBC 6 Music and performed at a number of international festivals. Career Their career began in 2002 with their club night at Club 333 in Shoreditch, which subsequently moved to the Camden Barfly. They performed internationally at clubs and festivals including the Carling Weekend, Roskilde Festival and Festival Internacional de Benicàssim, and presented their own show on MTV2. "Samantha" is a song by the American alternative rock band Hole. It is the fifth track on the band's fourth studio album, ''Nobody's Daughter'', released on Mercury Records on April 23, 2010. Written by vocalist Courtney Love, The Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan and music producer Linda Perry, "Samantha" was originally planned as the album's lead single. The album was initially conceived as a solo project and follow-up to the Hole frontwoman Courtney Love's first solo record, '' America's Sweetheart'' (2004). At the urging of her friend and former producer Linda Perry, Love began writing material while in a lockdown rehabilitation center in 2005 following a protracted cocaine addiction and numerous related legal troubles. Stuart Fisher is an English musician, notable for being drummer of alternative rock band Hole between 2009 and 2011. Prior to becoming a member of Hole, Fisher was also the drummer of English psychedelic rock band Ozric Tentacles and also Fingermonster.
