Mick Malone (hurler)
Michael Malone (born 1950) is an Irish retired hurler who played as a right wing-forward for the Cork senior team. Malone joined the team during the 1971 championship and was a regular member of the starting fifteen until his retirement after the 1978 championship. During that time he won two All-Ireland medals, four Munster medals, two National League medals and two All-Star awards. Malone was an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion. At club level Malone played with Éire Óg. Playing career Club Malone played his club hurling and Gaelic football with Éire Óg and enjoyed much success in a lengthy career. After winning a number of divisional championships in the early 1970s, Éire Óg made a breakthrough at county level in 1977. Éire Óg is a Gaelic football and hurling club based in Ovens, County Cork, Ireland. The club is affiliated with Cork GAA county board and the Muskerry divisional board. History Éire Óg Hurling and Football club (''Cumann IománaÃochta agus Peile Éire Óg'') is located in the parish of Ovens/Farran approximately 16 km west of Cork city, just off the main Cork-Killarney road. Eddie Keher
Edward Peter Keher (; born 14 October 1941) is an Irish former hurler who played as a centre-forward at senior level for the Kilkenny county team. Born in Inistioge, County Kilkenny, Keher first played competitive hurling whilst at school in St. Kieran's College. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of fifteen when he first linked up with the Kilkenny minor team. He made his senior debut in the 1959 championship. Keher went on to play a key part for Kilkenny over several seasons, and won six All-Ireland medals, ten Leinster medals and three National Hurling League medals. An All-Ireland runner-up on four occasions, Keher also captained the team to All-Ireland victory in 1969. As a member of the Leinster inter-provincial team for sixteen years, Keher won nine Railway Cup medals, a record for a Leinster player. Pat Henderson
Pat Henderson (born 30 January 1943) is an Irish retired hurling manager and former player. Born in Johnstown, County Kilkenny, Henderson first played competitive hurling during his schooling at Thurles CBS. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of eighteen when he first linked up with the Kilkenny minor team, before later joining the under-21 team. He made his senior debut during the 1964 championship. Henderson went on to play a key role over the next fifteen years, and one five All-Ireland medals, eight Leinster medals and two National Hurling League medals. He was an All-Ireland runner-up on five occasions. As a member of the Leinster inter-provincial team on a number of occasions, Henderson won six Railway Cup medals. Con Roche
Cornelius Roche (born 1946) is an Irish former hurler, manager and selector. He played for Cork Senior Championship club St Finbarr's and was a member of the Cork senior hurling team for ten years, during which time he usually lined out as a left wing-back. Roche began his hurling career at club level with St Finbarr's. He broke onto the club's top adult team as a 17-year-old in 1963 and had his first success two years later when the club won the 1965 Cork Championship, before claiming further titles in 1968, 1974 and 1977. The highlight of Roche's club career came in 1975 when he was at midfield on the All-Ireland Championship-winning team. At inter-county level, Roche was part of the successful Cork minor team that won the All-Ireland Championship in 1964 before later winning an All-Ireland Championship with the under-21 team in 1966.
