Michigan's 4th House of Representatives district (also referred to as Michigan's 4th House district) is a legislative district within the Michigan House of Representatives located in the eastern portion of Wayne County, Michigan, including much of Detroit's Midtown and New Center neighborhoods, and all of the city of Hamtramck Hamtramck ( ) is a city in Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 28,433. Hamtramck is surrounded by the city of Detroit except for a small portion that borders the fellow enclave city of Hi .... Downtown Detroit is the central business district and a residential area of the city of Detroit, Michigan, United States. Locally, downtown tends to refer to the 1.4 square mile region bordered by M-10 (Lodge Freeway) to the west, Interstate 75 (I-75, Fisher Freeway) to the north, I-375 (Chrysler Freeway) to the east, and the Detroit River to the south. Abraham Aiyash is an American politician serving as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives from the 4th district. The district covers much of Detroit's Midtown, New Center, North End, Boston Edison, Virginia Park, and all of the city of Hamtramck. He is a member of the Democratic Party. Rose Mary Robinson (born December 12, 1939) is an American lawyer and a former Democratic member of the Michigan House of Representatives. Early life and education Rose Mary Robinson was born on December 12, 1939. In 1972, Robinson earned a Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State Law School in Detroit, Michigan. Career Robinson started her legal career as a Legal Council for American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees for Council 25. In 1970, with the help from John Dingell, Robinson was one of the first women elected as a County Commissioner in Wayne County, Michigan. Robinson served as the County Commissioner until 1982.
