Michigan's 33rd Senate District
Michigan's 33rd Senate district is one of 38 districts in the Michigan Senate. The 33rd district was created in 1953, as dictated by the 1908 Michigan Constitution. The previous 1850 constitution only allowed for 32 senate districts. It has been represented by Republican Rick Outman since 2019, succeeding fellow Republican Judy Emmons. Geography District 33 encompasses all of Newaygo and Montcalm counties, as well as parts of Ionia, Kent, Lake, Muskegon, and Ottawa counties. 2011 Apportionment Plan District 33, as dictated by the 2011 Apportionment Plan, covered all of Clare, Gratiot, Isabella, Mecosta, and Montcalm Counties in the dead center of the state. Isabella County, Michigan
Isabella County is a county located in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 64,394. Its county seat is Mount Pleasant. The area was known as ''Ojibiway Besse'', meaning "the place of the Ojibwa" (known as the Chippewa in the United States). History Isabella County was described by action of the Michigan Territorial legislature in 1831. But for purposes of population, revenue, and judicial matters, it was assigned to nearby counties. Its area was partitioned from unorganized territory plus a portion of Mackinac, which had existed as a Territorial County since 1818. Michigan's 3rd Congressional District
Michigan's 3rd congressional district is a U.S. congressional district in West Michigan. From 2003 to 2013, it consisted of the counties of Barry and Ionia, as well as all except the northwestern portion of Kent, including the city of Grand Rapids. The district was extended to Battle Creek after redistricting in 2012. In 2022, the district was extended to include portions of Muskegon County. Canadian Lakes is an unincorporated community in Mecosta County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The area is mostly within the southwest portion of Morton Township, southwest of Mecosta and east of Stanwood. For statistical reporting, the U.S. Census Bureau has defined a census-designated place (CDP) with the same name. As of the 2000 census, the CDP population was 1,922. The area defined by the CDP includes small portions in eastern Austin Township. Harrison is a city in and county seat of Clare County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,150 at the 2020 census. The community was settled as early as 1877 and was named after William Henry Harrison. Harrison is near the junction of US 127 and M-61. US 127 bypasses the city to the east, while Bus. Clare is a city mostly in Clare County in the U.S. State of Michigan. A small portion of the city extends south into Isabella County. The population was 3,254 at the 2020 census. Clare was settled as early as 1870 and contains two listings on the National Register of Historic Places: the Clare Downtown Historic District and the Clare Congregational Church. Greenville, Michigan

Alma, Michigan
Alma is the largest city in Gratiot County, Michigan, Gratiot County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 9,383 at the 2010 United States Census, 2010 census.
