Francesco Paolo Michetti
Francesco Paolo Michetti (October 2, 1851 – March 5, 1929) was an Italian painter known especially for his genre works. Biography He was born in Tocco da Casauria in the Province of Chieti. His father having died when he was a boy, Michetti was forced to work with a local artisan. In 1868, Michetti was awarded a stipend by the province to study at the Accademia (now ''Istituto'') in Naples under Domenico Morelli. Among his colleagues was Eduardo Dalbono. There he also interacted with Filippo Palizzi, Giuseppe De Nittis, and Marco De Gregorio, artists of the School of Resina. Disciplinary problems soon caused Michetti to return to Chieti. He began to spend time in Francavilla a Mare, which by 1878 would be his residence. He traveled to Paris, encouraged and supported by De Nittis, by the patron Beniamino Rotondo, and by the art merchant Reutlinger. Marta Gabriela Michetti Illia (; born 28 May 1965) is an Argentine politician and was Vice President of Argentina from 2015 to 2019 during Mauricio Macri's administration. Before her, the only woman to serve as vice president was Isabel Perón. Michetti is member of Republican Proposal and Cambiemos. She was Deputy Chief of Government in Buenos Aires from 2007 to 2009. She was National Deputy from 2009 to 2013 and served as National Senator for the City of Buenos Aires since 2013 to 2015. Ideologically, she is considered conservative; religiously, she is Catholic. She is a great-grandniece of former Argentine president Arturo Umberto Illia. '' Tenente Colonnello'' Giorgio Michetti (May 29, 1888 - February 4, 1966) was a World War I flying ace credited with five aerial victories. Early life and service Giorgio Michetti was born in Francavilla al Mare, Kingdom of Italy on 29 May 1888.Franks et al 1997, p. 146. He was the son of famous painter Francesco Paolo Michetti. The younger Michetti was raised in a bohemian household on the Adriatic seafront; he grew up in a progressive atmosphere, knowing Gabriele d'Annunzio. Nicola Michetti
Nicola Michetti, also known as Niccolo or Niccolò (circa 7 December 1675 in Venice – 12 November 1758 in Rome) was an Italian architect, active in a late- Baroque style in mostly Rome, Italy and St Petersburg, Russia. While born in Venice, Nicola worked for years in Rome under Carlo Fontana, including as a foreman (Capomaestro) in the reconstruction of the Basilica of Santi Apostoli. Nicola independently submitted a proposal for the Trevi Fountain (1704), however, the winning commission went to Salvi. Nicola performed smaller architectural projects in Rome, including the altar and the architecture of the ''Sacripante chapel'' (1712) in Sant'Ignazio. In 1715, he submitted a losing design against competitors like Juvarra, Canevari and others to be able to design a new sacristy of St. Peter's Basilica.
