Michelle Brown
Michelle Margaret Freda Brown (born 30 December 1969) is a British politician who was a Member of the Senedd (MS) for North Wales from 2016 to 2021. In March 2019 she resigned from the UK Independence Party (UKIP) to become an independent. Education and election Michelle Brown grew up in Mostyn and was educated at St Richard Gwyn Catholic High School, Flint, and at convents in Holywell and Holyhead. She graduated with a bachelor's and master's degree in Law and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Staffordshire University. In the 2016 National Assembly for Wales election she was elected as a UKIP Assembly Member (AM) for North Wales. 2017 controversies In February 2017 Future Inns, a hotel in Cardiff Bay, accused Brown of smoking "recreational drugs" in her hotel room. A Member of the Senedd (MS; plural: ''MSs''; cy, Aelodau o'r Senedd; , plural:) (AS)., group=la is a representative elected to the Senedd (Welsh Parliament; ). There are sixty members, with forty members chosen to represent individual Senedd constituencies, and twenty to represent the five electoral regions of the Senedd in Wales. Each person in Wales is represented by five MSs: one for their local constituency (encompassing their local area where they reside), and another four covering their electoral region (a large grouping of constituencies). Carolyn Thomas
Carolyn Thomas (born 1965) is a Welsh Labour Party politician who has been a Member of the Senedd (MS) for North Wales since the 2021 Senedd election. Early career and election Before being elected to the Senedd, Thomas worked as a postal worker until 2020 and was a member of the Communication Workers Union (CWU). In 2008, she was elected to Flintshire County Council as an independent representing Treuddyn before joining Labour in 2015. In 2019, Thomas became Deputy Leader of the council. Janet Elizabeth Haworth is a Welsh Conservative politician who was a Member of the Welsh Assembly (AM) for the North Wales Region between 2015 and 2016. Caroline Yvonne Jones (born 1 April 1955) is a Welsh politician who was a Member of the Senedd (MS) for South Wales West from 2016 to 2021. Gareth John Bennett MS (born 1 December 1968) is a Welsh politician who served as the Leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP) in the Senedd from 2018 to 2019, and was a Member of the Senedd (MS) for South Wales Central from 2016 to 2021.
