Michele Torpedine (Minervino Murge, 1952) is an Italian record producer, television personality, drummer and music manager. He has been the producer of many renowned Italian artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Zucchero, and Il Volo, among many others. Biography Also known internationally as ''Michael Torpedine'', he began his career as a drummer for Orietta Berti, Iva Zanicchi and Gino Paoli. In the eighties, through an entertainment agency based in Bologna, he looked after the image of artists Lucio Dalla, Loredana Bertè and Francesco De Gregori and planned the stages of Gianna Nannini's America tour. Giuseppe Daniele (19 March 1955 – 4 January 2015), known as Pino Daniele, was an Italian singer, songwriter and musician. His influences covered a wide number of genres, including pop, blues, jazz, and Italian and Middle Eastern music. Biography Daniele was born to a working-class family in Naples, his father being a harbor worker. A self-taught guitarist, he began his career as a musician playing for other successful singers of the 1970s. His debut in the Italian music world was in 1977 with the album ''Terra mia'', which proved to be a successful mix of Neapolitan tradition and Blues sounds. Adelmo e i suoi Sorapis is an Italian Supergroup (music), supergroup led by singer songwriter Zucchero Fornaciari. The group includes Maurizio Vandelli (former lead member of ''Equipe 84''), Dodi Battaglia (member of ''Pooh (band), Pooh''), Umbi Maggi (former bass guitarist of ''Nomadi''), Fio Zanotti (conductor and arranger) and Michele Torpedine (record producer). The band formed in 1989, when they met in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Cortina, at the foot of Sorapis mountain, all to be there on vacation. Since then they played together almost every year-end. They published their first and only album in 1993, ''Walzer d'un blues''. The group then made a short tour to promote the album with dates in Milan, Rome and Bethlehem.
