Michele Rigione (born 7 March 1991) is an Italian footballer who plays for side Avellino as a centre back. Club career Chievo and Inter Born in Naples, Campania, Rigione had played for Veneto club Chievo since 2001. In August 2007 he joined Inter's under-17 team on loan for €205,000F.C. Internazionale Milano S.p.A. ''bilancio'' (financial report and accounts) on 30 June 2008 (in Italian) with an option to co-own the player, and made his debut for Inter's reserves – Primavera in February 2008. Calcio Foggia 1920, commonly referred to as Foggia, is an Football in Italy, Italian football club based in Foggia, Apulia. 2015 Italian Football Scandal
The 2015 Italian football scandal, or ''Dirty Soccer'', was a scandal that involved rigged matches in 2014–15 season, involving Calcio Catania. The multimillion-dollar match-fixing scandal was suspected to be orchestrated by 'Ndrangheta, the most powerful mafia syndicate in Italy. Origins and etymology The scandal first came to light as a consequence of investigations of prosecutors by the Italian football agency, Divisione Investigazioni Generali e Operazioni Speciali. On 19 May 2015, a total of 50 people were arrested in Italy on suspicion of match-fixing and 70 people being detained in total. The team that was under investigation was Catania, who fixed five matches so that they could remain in Serie B. On 23 June 2015, the team's president, Antonio Pulvirenti, and six others were arrested for match-fixing. Six days later, it was revealed that Pulvirenti "paid £71,000 to fix five matches". 2015–16 Serie B
The 2015–16 Serie B (known as the Serie B ConTe.it for sponsorship reasons) was the 84th season since its establishment in 1929. A total of 22 teams contested the league: 16 returning from the 2014–15 season, 4 promoted from Lega Pro, and 2 relegated from Serie A. Vacancies created by the bankruptcy of Serie A-relegated Parma and the demotion of Catania to Lega Pro due to match fixing allowed Brescia to remain in the league despite being relegated. Furthermore, Teramo was due to participate to Serie B but due to the allegations for match-fixing, the Courts decided to relegate Teramo in the last place of Lega Pro of the previous season. Giulio Donati (born 5 February 1990) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a right-back for club Monza. Marco Giancarlo Andreolli (born 10 June 1986) is a retired Italian professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Club career Padova and Internazionale Andreolli began playing with Padova's youth system before being signed by Inter in 2003.
