Michel Pavon
Michel Pavon (born 7 November 1968) is a French former professional footballer, and is a coach. During his playing career, the defensive midfielder appeared for three teams in 14 years while appearing in 378 Ligue 1 matches as a professional (a very brief spell in Spain notwithstanding), and worked mainly with Bordeaux as both a player and coach. Playing career Pavon was born in La Ciotat, Bouches-du-Rhône (in the Marseille region) to a Spanish father, Pépito Pavon, who was also a footballer, and a French mother, and started his professional football career with Toulouse FC, playing his first Ligue 1 match on 7 November 1986 against Paris Saint-Germain FC (3–2 away win on the day of his 18th birthday). La Ciotat
La Ciotat (; oc, label= Provençal Occitan, La Ciutat ; in Mistralian spelling ''La Ciéutat''; 'the City') is a commune in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in Southern France. The France national under-21 football team (french: Equipe de France Espoirs), known in France as ''Les Espoirs'' (, ''The Hopes''), is the national under-21 football team of France and is controlled by the French Football Federation. The team competes in the UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship, held every two years. Following the realignment of UEFA's youth competitions in 1976, under-21 football teams in Europe were formed. Élie Baup
Élie Baup (; born 17 March 1955) is a French football manager and a former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. His last post was the manager of Ligue 1 side Marseille. Managerial career 1994–2009 As the club manager of Bordeaux, Baup won the French Division 1 championships in 1999 and the Coupe de la Ligue in 2002. He was sacked on 24 October 2003 by the club president Jean-Louis Triaud. Baup signed on as the manager of Saint-Étienne in 2004, bringing to the club one of his favourite players, Pascal Feindouno. Saint-Étienne had won promotion to Ligue 1 at the end of the 2003–04 season. The Coupe de la Ligue (), known outside France as the French League Cup, was a Single-elimination tournament, knockout cup competition in Football in France, French football organized by the Ligue de Football Professionnel. The tournament was established in 1993 and, unlike the Coupe de France, was only open to professional clubs in France which play in country's French football league system, top three football divisions, though the Championnat National, third is not fully professional.
