Michel Otou
Michel Otou (born 1 November 1997) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ghanaian Premier League side Accra Great Olympics. He previously played for and served as captain of International Allies. Club career Early career Otou started his career with Ghana Division One League side Unistar Academy before later moving to International Allies in 2017. In 2016 he went on a short-term loan to Portimonense SC. In July 2017, he also went for a three weeks trials at Scottish Premiership side Heart of Midlothian F.C., Hearts of Midlothian, but couldn't secure a deal. 2015 African U-20 Championship
The 2015 African U-20 Championship was the 20th edition of the biennial international youth football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for players aged 20 and below. The tournament took place in Senegal between 8–22 March 2015. The semi-finalists of the tournament qualified for the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand. Nigeria won the tournament, and were joined by hosts Senegal, Ghana, and Mali as CAF qualifiers for the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup. Gladson Awako (born December 31, 1990) is a Ghanaian footballer who plays as a midfielder and captains Accra Hearts of Oaks. Career Early career Awako began his career with Berekum Arsenal and joined in 2006 to All Stars F.C. who played his first profi matches in the Ghana Premier League. The season started on 14 November 2020. 18 teams are competing in the league with each club playing each other twice, home and away, with the three clubs at the bottom of the league relegated to the Division One League. The GFA announced that the league was suspended on 15 March 2020, in the middle of match-week 15, because of the global COVID-19 pandemic. West African Football Academy
West African Football Academy (WAFA) Sporting Club is a Ghanaian professional football club based near Sogakope in the Volta Region that was founded by Feyenoord from Rotterdam. They are competing in the Ghana Premier League. The 2016–17 season was a successful one for WAFA as the side finished second in the Premier League, beating Hearts of Oak 5–0 along the way. History Feyenoord's chairman Jorien van den Herik was given permission for the opening of Feyenoord's own football academy in the Ghanaian settlement of Gomoa Fetteh, just outside the capital Accra.
