Michel Caron (tenor)
Michel Caron (29 April 1929 in Sèvres - 3 September 2001 in Le Mesnil-Simon, Eure-et-Loir) was a French operatic tenor and stage actor. He sang in operettas like '' The White Horse Inn'' (1960) and opéra-bouffe '' La Périchole'' with Jean Le Poulain and Roger Carel, and '' Barbe Bleue'' with Jean Le Poulain and Arlette Didier (1968). Biographie From childhood, Michel Caron wanted to become an actor. He entered the René Simon class, then the Conservatoire de Paris where he won three first prizes: opera, comic opera and operetta. Caron's career began at the Théâtre du Châtelet to perform Guy Florès during a revival of ''The White Horse Inn'' (1960/1961). Sèvres
Sèvres (, ) is a commune in the southwestern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located from the centre of Paris, in the Hauts-de-Seine department, Île-de-France region. The commune, which had a population of 23,251 as of 2018, is known for its famous porcelain production at the ''Manufacture nationale de Sèvres'', which was also where the Treaty of Sèvres (1920) was signed. Alain Corneau
Alain Corneau (7 August 1943 – 30 August 2010) was a French film director and writer. Corneau was born in Meung-sur-Loire, Loiret. Originally a musician, he worked with Costa-Gavras as an assistant, which was also his first opportunity to work with the actor Yves Montand, with whom he would collaborate three times later in his career, including ''Police Python 357'' (1976) and ''La Menace'' (1977). He directed Gérard Depardieu in the screen adaptation of '' Tous les matins du monde'' in 1991. Georges Van Parys (7 June 1902 in Paris – 28 January 1971 in Paris) was a French composer of film music and operettas. Among his musical influences were the group Les Six, Maurice Ravel, and Claude Debussy.
