Michal Obročník (born 4 June 1991) is a Slovak professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Nové Zámky. Career ViOn Zlaté Moravce He made his debut for ViOn Zlaté Moravce against Ružomberok on 14 July 2012. Slovan Liberec In January 2014, Obročník came to Czech club Slovan Liberec. Pohronie On 31 January 2020, Pohronie has announced that signing of Obročník, along with the signing of Jacy. In a later interview, Obročník explained that his early departure from Polish Chojniczanka Chojnice was caused by club's financial troubles and delayed wage payments. He returned to Slovakia as the contract with Chojniczanka forbade him from signing with another Polish club. Rimavská Sobota (; hu, Rimaszombat, german: Großsteffelsdorf) is a town in southern Slovakia, in the Banská Bystrica Region, on the Rimava river. It has approximately 24,000 inhabitants. The Czech Cup ( cs, Pohár FAČR), officially known as the MOL Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the major men's football cup competition in the Czech Republic. The 2020–21 Slovak First Football League (known as the Slovak Fortuna liga for sponsorship reasons) was the 28th season of first-tier football league in Slovakia since its establishment in 1993. Slovan Bratislava were the defending champions for the second successive year, after picking up the domestic double in the previous season. COVID-19 Pandemic In Slovakia
The COVID-19 pandemic in Slovakia has resulted in confirmed cases of COVID-19 and deaths. The virus was confirmed to have spread to Slovakia on 6 March 2020 when Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini announced that a 52-year-old man was infected. He had not travelled anywhere but his son had travelled to Venice in Italy, and was later confirmed as the first Slovak to be infected. Three cases were then confirmed, including the man's son and wife. During the next few days, COVID-19 cases went up to 21 out of 832 tested. List of measures Pellegrini adopted some of the strictest precautions in Europe at the time by banning all personal international flights, rail and bus travel, and unnecessary foreign travel; implementing border checks and a compulsory 14-day quarantine for everyone returning from abroad, and closing all schools nationwide.
