Michael Joyce Reginald Woods (1857 - 12 November 1934) was a member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly. Biography Woods was born in Parramatta, New South Wales, the son of the Michael Woods and his wife Sarah (née McCreah). He was educated in Goulburn and he spent all his working life in the railways. Michael Russell Woods (born 12 October 1986) is a Canadian racing cyclist, who rides for UCI WorldTeam and is the first person to break four minutes in the mile and complete the Tour de France. Career Athletics career Woods' first sport was ice hockey and his childhood ambition was to play as a left wing for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Prior to becoming a cyclist, Woods was a promising middle-distance runner, setting Canadian national junior records in the mile and 3000 metres in 2005, as well as taking the gold medal in the 1500 metres at the 2005 Pan American Junior Athletics Championships. However, he suffered a recurring stress fracture in his left foot, exacerbated by excessive training and racing, resulting in his running his last race in 2007. Michael James Woods (born 6 April 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for South Shields. He started his career at Chelsea, and has since played for Harrogate Town, Hartlepool United, Dover Athletic and York City. Michael Jay Woods (November 1, 1954 – May 29, 2009) was an American football linebacker who played three seasons with the Baltimore Colts of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Baltimore Colts in the second round of the 1978 NFL Draft. Michael "Mike" Cranston Woods (1 August 1926 - 4 October 2017) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Woods was born in Melbourne and attended Melbourne Grammar. In 1944, Woods joined the Navy and was commissioned to HMAS Nizam. In 1952, he graduated from the University of Melbourne with a commerce and social science degree. He furthered his studies at the London School of Economics. Michael Woods II (born March 19, 2000) is an American football wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Arkansas and Oklahoma. Early life and high school Woods grew up in Magnolia, Texas and attended Magnolia High School. He caught 155 passes for 2,988 yards and 41 touchdowns in three varsity seasons at Magnolia. Woods was rated a three-star recruit and initially committed to play college football at SMU. He later decommitted and signed to play at Arkansas after SMU coach Chad Morris was hired by the school.
