Michael Wells (born 3 May 1993) is an Australian people Rugby Union player who currently plays as a loose forward for the in the National Rugby Championship. As of the 2016 Super Rugby season, he is also a member of the extended playing squad. Wells was an Australian schoolboys representative in 2011 and was also a member of the Australia under-20 side which competed in the 2013 IRB Junior World Championship in France. Since 2014, he has also turned out for the Australia Sevens The Australia Sevens is an international rugby sevens tournament that was first played in 1986. Currently hosted as the Sydney Sevens, the event is part of the World Rugby Sevens Series. The 2021 Super Rugby AU season (branded as Harvey Norman Super Rugby AU for sponsorship reasons) was a professional club rugby union tournament organised by Rugby Australia.
