Mike Webb was born in London on 21 September 1956, and migrated to Australia at age 11 in 1967. Webb was initially well known for his appearances on Channel NWS-9 in Adelaide in the 1970s. The "Webb Brothers"were regular guests on a number of TV variety / entertainment programs. He later became a Christian, and eventually a pastor and the South Australian state leader for the Apostolic Church Australia. Background Webb and his brother Keith Webb had a passion for music at a young age, which led them to their appearances and performances on local television channel NWS-9 in Adelaide. The "Webb Brothers"were regular guests on a number of TV variety / entertainment programs. The Webb brothers initially received the "Encouragement Award" alongside Faye Nelson and Deborah Kirk on SAS 10's '' New Faces'' in 1971. Mike Webb (September 4, 1955–April 14, 2007) was an American radio personality. Originally a radio news reporter, he later became a liberal talk show host and activist. Webb was murdered in 2007. Early life and career in San Francisco Webb was born and raised in San Francisco, California. He had an early interest in radio. As a teenager, he was a street reporter broadcasting observations of civil rights, anti-Vietnam war protests, and youth issues for San Francisco radio stations KMPX, KQED and KCBS. KMPX was the nation's first progressive rock station, started by Top 40 disc jockey Tom Donahue, and practiced advocacy journalism. One of Webb's most notable on-air experiences was reporting the murders of San Francisco City Supervisor Harvey Milk and Mayor George Moscone by ex-City Supervisor Dan White. Michael Webb (born June 19, 1979, in North Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian rugby player, who has played for Newfoundland Rock and the Canadian national team. He has usually played flanker. In 2007, Webb played two games as a substitute in the Rugby World Cup. A well regarded leader throughout his rugby development, Webb was named captain of the Canadian side in his test debut May 2004 vs USA. Canada won that match 23–20. Webb is the 33rd Canadian captain. Bio A product of West Vancouver Secondary School, Webb has played for Vancouver Under-17 before being selected for Canada U19 at the 1998 FIRA championships, where Canada placed fourth. Michael Webb (born 1937) is an English architect. He was a founding member of the 1960s Archigram Group. Biography Webb was born in Henley-on-Thames and studied architecture at the Regent Street Polytechnic in London, taking seventeen years to complete a five-year curriculum. He was a founding member of the 1960s Archigram Group, a collection of six young radical architects. They used a magazine format, Archigram inflatable structures, clothing-like environments, bright colors and cartoon-like drawing techniques. Webb moved to the United States in 1965 to teach at Virginia Tech, and has since taught architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design, NJIT, Columbia University, Barnard College, Cooper Union, University at Buffalo, Pratt Institute and Princeton University.
