Michael Christian Wagner (born 26 July 2000) is a German footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Regionalliga Bayern club FV Illertissen. Career Wagner made his debut for Bayern Munich II in the Regionalliga Bayern on 25 August 2017, coming on as a substitute in the 9th minute for outfielder Resul Türkkalesi against FC Augsburg II, as starting goalkeeper Christian Früchtl was sent off two minutes prior. The away match finished as a 1–5 loss. He made four appearances during the following season, but did not play for the second team during the 2019–20 season. He later made his debut for the team in the 3. Liga on 7 February 2021, starting in a home match against KFC Uerdingen. Michael Robert Wagner (born June 22, 1949) is a former professional football player, a safety for 10 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He won four Super Bowls as a member of the famed Steel Curtain defense. Playing career Born in Waukegan, Illinois, Wagner graduated in 1967 from Carmel High School in Mundelein. He played college football at Western Illinois University in Macomb, earning NAIA All-American status in 1969. He was added to the Western Illinois Athletics Hall of Fame in 1976. Wagner was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 11th round of the 1971 NFL Draft, the 268th overall selection. First looked at as a wide receiver on offense, he was soon switched to defense as a safety. Wagner tied for the NFL lead with eight interceptions in 1973, appeared in the 1975 and 1976 Pro Bowls and recorded 36 career interceptions and 12 fumble recoveries. Michael Bill Wagner (September 30, 1947 – April 23, 1992) was an American television writer and producer who worked on several television shows between 1975 and 1992, and won an Emmy Award in 1982 for Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series for his work on the television show '' Hill Street Blues''. He co-created, produced and wrote several episodes for the one-season ABC series '' Probe''. Career Wagner was a military brat. He was born in Ohio, but grew up on Air Force bases in New York, Illinois, Japan, Germany, Nebraska and Texas. He graduated in 1965 from Randolph High School at Randolph Air Force Base, Texas. He attended the University of Missouri and moved to California, holding various jobs in Los Angeles, while writing scripts and selling some of his paintings.
