Michael Strano
Michael Steven Strano is an American chemical engineering, chemical engineer and the Carbon P. Dubbs Professor of Chemical Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is particularly interested in quantum-confined materials. Strano was appointed editor-in-chief of ''Carbon (journal), Carbon'' in 2016. In 2017, Strano was elected a member of the National Academy of Engineering "for contributions to nanotechnology, including fluorescent sensors for human health and solar and thermal energy devices." Education Strano was born around 1976. He graduated with a BS degree (summa cum laude) in chemical engineering from the New York University Tandon School of Engineering, Polytechnic University, Brooklyn in 1997. Hydrogen peroxide is a chemical compound with the formula . In its pure form, it is a very pale blue liquid that is slightly more viscous than water. The Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) was an academic publishing service, founded by Eugene Garfield in Philadelphia in 1956. ISI offered scientometric and bibliographic database services. Sheila Kennedy is an American architect and professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) who is known for including green technology, such as flexible solar cells, into her designs. She is interested in using technology in new ways and in re-examining traditional ways of building and designing structures. Biography Kennedy shares that as a teen, she was interested in electronics. Kennedy attended Wesleyan University, receiving a bachelor's degree in history, philosophy and literature in 1979.
